Learn how to actually build a bookkeeping business.

Pricing. Discovery calls. Onboarding. The real work in QuickBooks. How to talk to clients — and even how to build your website. I've run my own firm for five years. Now I teach other bookkeepers exactly how I did it.

What I Teach

The whole job — not just the pep talk.

This isn't theory. These are the exact things I do in my own business every week, broken down so you can do them too.

01

Pricing your services

Flat monthly rates that actually profit. Stop guessing at hourly.

02

Discovery calls

Turn a first conversation into a paying client without feeling salesy.

03

Onboarding clients

Get a new client set up clean, fast, and stress-free from day one.

04

The work in QuickBooks

Month-end, cleanups, and the real monthly workflow — done right.

05

Talking to clients

Set boundaries, communicate well, and keep clients for years.

06

Building your website

Look legit, get found, and let the right clients come to you.

Inside Every Call

How the weekly calls actually work

Capped under 10 people on purpose. Everyone gets airtime. No lurking in a 200-person Zoom.

STEP 01

Wins around the room

We start by going around. Each person shares what they got done last week. Momentum compounds when you say it out loud.

STEP 02

Open Q&A

Bring anything — pricing, a tough client, a tech-stack question, an offer you're building. No question is too basic.

STEP 03

Hot seat

Stuck? We put your business on the screen and work it out live. You leave with a concrete next move.

About Jake

Hi, I'm Jake.

I started Wenonah Bookkeeping in 2021. Five years later it runs around 60 clients and $270K a year — in about 30 hours a week. I live in South Jersey with my wife and our four kids.

COVID taught me a hard lesson: as an employee, I didn't have control. So I built a business to take it back — and built it to fit around my life, not run it.

Faith first.
Family second.
Business third.

Now I help other bookkeepers build the same thing: a calm, profitable business, one client at a time.
